What hosted events will be organised during BioFIT?
R&D dating for Animal Health and Innovation 
Today, public-private and private-private partnerships are thought to be the leverage that is needed for innovation. That is why the SIMV launched the “R&D dating for Animal Health and Innovation”, which strives to initiate high-level exchanges between research departments of the veterinary medicine, diagnostics industry and public research, as well as with biotechnology companies (start-ups).
Focus on key moments in Animal Health during BioFIT:
• Roundtable discussion on “Investors and Animal Health: Expectations and perspectives for 2025“ on Tuesday, December 3rd from 2.00 to 2.45 pm.
• Animal Health Presentations on Tuesday, December 3rd from 4.15 to 6.00 pm.
Advancing Data Incorporation and Interoperability for Cancer Image Europe
Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 | 9.30 am – 1.00 pm
This workshop offers all attendees an invaluable opportunity to learn about the forefront of data interoperability and incorporation in AI and bioinformatics, especially within the critical field of cancer imaging. Attendees will gain insights into the EUCAIM consortium’s efforts to build a scalable, interoperable data framework that aligns with FAIR principles—making data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.
By exploring real-world case studies, hands-on platform demonstrations, and expert panel discussions, participants will understand both the practical challenges and solutions in achieving seamless data integration across complex datasets and models. This knowledge is directly transferable to biotech, medtech, and digital health initiatives, empowering attendees to enhance data standardisation and interoperability in their own projects. Furthermore, this session fosters networking and collaboration, offering direct interaction with EUCAIM’s technical leaders and other pioneering organisations focused on advancing data-driven healthcare solutions.
Awards Ceremony – PUI Lille Innovation Contest

Designed to encourage and support entrepreneurial spirit, the PUI Lille Innovation Contest is part of a collective approach aimed at raising awareness of the partnership culture among the entrepreneurs selected.
The PUI Lille Innovation Contest is an essential component of the regional and national strategy to promote the development of Deep Tech in France! Its aim is to stimulate the desire for entrepreneurship, to intensify the flow of deeptech projects within the PUI Lille perimeter, and in relation to 5 priority issues in the region:
- Energy solutions,
- Chemistry, materials and production systems for a world in transition,
- Cultural and creative economy,
- Digital, robotics and electronics,
- Technologies and innovations in health and well-being.
