Fatima Ann Sulaiman is a former academic who now works in the non-profit sector in order to harness science and create change for good. Having completed a PhD and postdoctoral position, she went on to work for Cancer Research UK – one of the largest funders of scientific research in the world. With a long abiding interest in working cross collaboratively in order to accelerate the best research, she is a big believer in the resources and support that the non-profit sector can provide to biotechnology start-ups. In her current role as Head of Research at Scleroderma & Raynaud’s UK, she is currently developing an innovative and collaborative research strategy to push the rare disease field further than it’s ever been before.
