Materia Nova is a technological accelerator of sustainable innovations in the field of new materials and processes. The approach of Materia Nova is based on an open and collaborative innovation.
In the framework of a collaborative Interreg program, we developed a new portable device for early and specific rapid detection of microorganisms. Using DNA or antigenic probes on a plasmonic chip, this device was first dedicated to agriculture applications and is now adapted to biomedical domain.
With more than 1,200 international actors from 35+ countries, such as big pharma, emerging and small biotech, diagnostic companies, pre-seed / seed / Series A investors, as well as professionals from tech transfer, academia and research institutions, BioFIT is the leading partnering event in Europe for technology transfer, academia-industry collaborations and early-stage innovation deals in the field of Life Sciences. BioFIT is also the European marketplace for pre-seed, seed and Series A investment rounds in Life Sciences.
