1,200 delegates, over 30 countries represented, 100 exhibitors, 80 international speakers, 15 roundtable discussions and 3 hosted events: With these figures, BioFIT renewed during this 6th edition its position as the leading event for tech transfer, academia-industry collaborations and early-stage innovation in the field of Life Sciences and has become the marketplace for pre-seed, seed and Series A investment. BioFIT gathers big pharma, biotech start-ups and SMEs, researchers and investors in the same place at the same time, focused on the same goals: Engage new partnerships, source innovative and competitive early stage R&D projects, facilitate the emergence of collaborative projects and increase licensing opportunities in Life Sciences.
BioFIT 2017 was once again an unmissable event for the actors from the Life Sciences sector. In sixth editions, BioFIT has quadrupled its number of attendees from 300 to 1,200, convinced every year more and more organisations to host their events.
To continue its growth, the organisers of BioFIT have decided to engage in a long-term partnership with the Alsace BioValley competitiveness cluster offering for the BioFIT participants 2 ideal locations at the crossroads of Europe. The Lille-Strasbourg alternation began in 2015 and was reinforced this year by the second edition in the Grand Est Region.
To put it in a nutshell, BioFIT allows sourcing early-stage innovations, encourages collaborations between academic and industrial sectors and provides keys to gain insight the news from the sector thanks to its 4 main activities: One-to-one meetings, conferences and roundtable discussions, presentation sessions and exhibition.
