Top15 BioValley Life Sciences Start-ups!

This year, the special edition of The BioValley Companies Day: “Best of Start’up!” will be held on November 30^th in Strasbourg, France during BioFIT 2015 .

The BioValley Companies Day will allow room for an audience of Life Sciences players (industrials, investors, academics) to discover 15 companies of excellence located in the French-German-Swiss BioValley, which are looking for fundraising.

AFSSI’s conference

This year again, leading actors in Innovation Services will join us for 2 days of intensive partnering and networking! As a further step of the previous symposia organized by AFSSI within BioFIT 2014, AFSSI’s conference will be held from November 30^th to December 2^st, 2015 in Strasbourg, France during BioFIT 2015.

Over 100 French entrepreneurs running business in R&D Life Sciences, big company decision makers, academic research leaders, governmental regulators and investors will take part in the partnering activity provided by BioFIT to design the best relationships within the new landscape of industry R&D cooperation.

In the center of the topics: the growth of small and medium “technology” companies driven by the need of biopharma companies to improve research at limited cost and by the need of academic organizations to mature the output of research programs; the meeting aims at focusing to build sustainable relationships between industrial life science R&D stakeholders and to benchmark similar European R&D provider networks.

R&D dating for animal health and innovation – SIMV

This year again, leading actors in Animal Health will join us for 2 days of intensive partnering and networking as BioFIT2015 will host the 2^nd edition of the « R&D dating for animal health and innovation”, initiated by the French association for animal health industry (SIMV) on December 1^st & 2^nd, 2015.

Today, Public-private and private-private partnerships are thought to be the needed leverage for innovation. Hence, the SIMV (French association for the animal health industry) is launching the first “R&D dating for Animal Health and innovation”, which aims to initiate high-level exchanges between the research departments of the veterinary medicine and diagnostics industry and public research, as well as emerging biotechnology companies.

By the one-to-one partnering session provided by BioFIT, the event will enhance the visibility of cutting-edge research in France, encourage investments, and lead to therapeutic innovation.

Innovation in Diabetes: European Action Summit

This year again, leading actors in Diabetes will join us for 2 days of intensive partnering and networking!

Following the success of 2 previous editions (in Lund, Sweden in September 2013 and in Lille, France in December 2014 within BioFIT 2014), the 3^rd edition of IDEA Summit, the unique European event dedicated to translational research on diabates will be held on November 30^th & December  1^st, 2015 in Strasbourg, France during BioFIT 2015.

With a one-day conference program dedicated to sheld the light on recent innovation and clinical achievement in the field of diabetes on November 30th, following by a one-to-one partnering session provided by BioFIT enabling Pharma, Biotech, TTO’s & Academic scientists to explore licensing and collaborative opportunities on December 1^st, 2015*; IDEA Summit aims to stimulate academia-industry interaction and identify initiatives that can accelerate the pace of innovation in the diabetes area.

During the last edition of BioFIT in 2014, the French syndicate for veterinary drug (SIMV) initiated the 1^st European Business Convention dedicated to animal health.
More than 40 companies, 37 public research teams and 180 delegates involved in animal health met in order to accelerate the transfer between human and veterinary medicine.

In total, 400 one-to-one meetings have been scheduled with all the attendees.
